admin-ajax    Kayla discovered the journey of yoga over 10 years ago. After taking her first class, she immediately fell in love with yoga.

It only took a few years until she developed a serious relationship with her yoga practice. Yoga has transformed Kayla’s life in every aspect. In 2005, she completed her 200-hour teacher training in Sampoorna Yoga under the guidance of Shri Yogi Hariji in Miramar, Florida. She taught private clients and group classes at local studios and wellness centers in Fort, Lauderdale FL.

Kayla teaches her classes from the heart creating an uplifting energy flow, and focusing on alignment and hands-on adjustments. She motivates and inspires students to connect with their inner self using breath, movement and body awareness; this helps students explore and reach their true potential. Kayla loves teaching classes that cultivate strength with stretch in hatha and vinyasa style flow. She is also a firm believer that yin classes help to add balance to today’s hectic and technology heavy world.

Lisa V

Committed to health and vitality, Lisa’s yoga practices are created around healing and nurturing both the physical and emotional bodies.

By gently and powerfully guiding people through the subtle energies of their bodies, Lisa helps them cultivate a healthier mind, body and deeper practice. She takes her students back to the root of what yoga is all about. Lisa creatively plays with her yoga classes by changing them up to meet the mood and energy of her classes. No class is ever the same, and it is her greatest intention that each class will bring whatever nurturing gifts each individual student requires.

Lisa received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate in 2004 while working with Martin and Jordan Kirk and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She also holds Reiki 1 and 2 certifications. Lisa is always continuing her studies through reading, workshops, and working with masters of various healing modalities. It is this wide range of studies as well as her personal life experience that she draws upon in her teaching. Lisa is both a teacher and student and gains invaluable knowledge through working with others.

Lisa knows it’s essential to find the natural rhythm, balance and flow of one’s being in order to heal it. Although that recipe is different for everyone, it is her belief that in order to have optimal health, one must balance and align all four bodies; emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual. One must learn to be in tune with oneself and take personal responsibility for health and well-being. Lisa takes students of all levels to their personal edge, which is where the magic happens and change occurs.

Working with N.O.W. (Natures Own Way), Lisa leads yoga workshops that will alter the way any yoga practice can be done. She teaches many techniques to integrate into a yoga routine that heal and generate awareness. Working with Lisa can open many of the doors that can be difficult to access without an experienced teacher. She offers private yoga sessions as well.

David was initially drawn to Yoga as an alternative to his workout routine, to develop flexibility. After leading a few groups of friends through his personal Yoga practice, one friend asked, “How many years have you been teaching Yoga?.” It was at that moment that he realized he had found his calling; it was love at first OHM!

David’s focus is on a style not yet widely known in our Western society, the practice of Yoga Nidra. This is an ideal practice for the high stress society that we live in today. Through the indoctrination of Energy & Breathing techniques, there is a profound restoration which manifests Physically & Spiritually. It is with this purpose that Yoga Nidra was developed, and is congruent with its definition “to still the mind in order to see”.

David has completed his Yoga Nidra Certification along with the 500Hr Master Level Diploma through SWIHA.

Lee Gaines, RYT® 200, has been instructing yoga classes since February 2014, shortly after earning his teaching certificate from Spirit of Yoga in Tempe.

Lee Picture      Lee first tried yoga when a friend invited him to take a class in Tucson; he didn’t know much about yoga but had been curious for a while. Lee found the class to be a physical and mental challenge, but it was all worth it because he had never felt so good after leaving that studio. That blissful feeling told Lee that yoga was something he wanted in his life. Lee became hooked, going to classes regularly and studying the philosophy and history of yoga. During this time Lee started shifting his life around, he got rid of a lot of things he didn’t need, and he started eating healthier by adopting a plant-based diet and making healthy meals. Lee started to become stronger and more flexible, literally and figuratively, and feels a solid sense of lasting peace in his life. Lee is grateful for the blessings and opportunities yoga has brought into his life and loves to share it with others.
